WW – Crochet Works In Progress

Another Wordless Wednesday

Crochet doll head

Yes, I think she is going to be so very cute! She’s the newest crochet work-in-progress. I fully intend for her to go into the Etsy shop once I am finished. Somehow the things I’ve been crocheting have not made it that far yet. The first Niles Crocodile that I crocheted, got snapped up quickly by one of my grandsons. Then I got an order for one, which made another young man very happy. Niles is offered in the Etsy shop now.

Crochet Scooby for Ethan

My grandson, Ethan, is madly in love with Scooby Doo. I found this ‘look-alike’ pattern on line and couldn’t wait to get started on it! Now, I know I have to take off the one front leg and reposition it, and then I still have the other front leg, his spots, mouth, and whiskers left to crochet. Then, when they finally get to come home, little Ethan will be so surprised!!

  1. You amaze me with your talent! I may have to order something for the baby from your shop when the date gets closer. 🙂

  2. I can’t wait to see the little person you’re making!! FUN! And yes, Logan LOVES his Niles!! <3

  3. Whatcha making? A bunny? That Scooby Doo is amazing! You have such a great gift!

  4. Wendy Pence says:

Is that top pic a Bunny Blanket Buddy? It looks very much like a couple I made recently (the beginnings of it, anyway). It’s a bunny body but instead of legs you crochet a small blanket. It’s not big enough to cover a baby, it’s just meant to be a little snuggle buddy. They turned out so cute! My sister chose one to give a friend of hers who’s having a baby this month. The other I’m sending to work with my husband as a gift for a business client who had a baby (one we both know well, not just some random person — that would be weird). :0)

    • Wendy, this is not a Bunny Blanket Buddy, but I have made them! Ravelry has tons of wonderful patterns for them, and so does Etsy. This turned out to be the little blonde doll.

  5. You do great work… love the Scooby Doo.

  6. Ooooh I love the Scooby Doo! I wonder if you would make SpongeBob and Patrick?!?

    • Kelley, why, yes, yes I can make SpongeBob and Patrick. I saw the patterns somewhere, and if there is a pattern, I can make it! LOL!Let me know if you would like them and I’ll figure up how much they would be!
