I couldn’t help myself! More pics from San Antonio!
** Warning! Pic HEAVY!** It may take a little while to load!
Yes, these are pictures from our trip to the Alamo a few weeks ago. San Antonio has such beautiful, old architecture, I just had to share more of what I found. These first three are over doorways…
Look at how ornate this doorway is! I just cannot get over all of the gorgeous craftsmanship that went into these doorways. They had reason to be proud of their work in those days.
This building (I believe it is a church) reminds me so much of a castle! Someday I hope to visit real castles in England and Ireland, but for now, these are close enough to work for me!
Of course I had to get pictures of these little figures protecting the doorways to this building. Male or female? Hard to tell!
I love these gargoyles! They completely encircle the top of this building. Maybe the fact that I am a Leo has something to do with it…
And this one, is a church …
This beautiful architecture is all over San Antonio. Everywhere you look there is an interesting church or historic building. Go visit!
Tell me someplace historic that you would like to visit.
Then link up and show me your fantastic pictures for Wordless Wednesday!
