Sticky Suction Car Mount From iGotTech

iGotTech Has Done It Again

Yes, I know. I’ve been reviewing a lot of phone car mounts lately. Google Maps is a go-to for Hubby and I, if we aren’t sure of a location. He uses it almost every day traveling all over Houston to the different places he works. I use it when I am looking for a garage sale address, or a thrift store address, or when I have a blog event location I am unsure of. It’s just easier to see where you are, and what’s coming up, if your phone is mounted on your dash instead of on the seat next to you, or in your lap. Not to mention, you could get pulled over by the police, if you are constantly picking up your phone to refresh the screen to see where you are supposed to turn!  The Sticky Suction Car Mount from iGotTech does a great job holding the phone where I can see it.

This particular car phone mount suction cups to your dash, or windshield. I attached it to my windshield because my dash is textured. Nothing suction cups to that dash. The problem I have with suction cup car mounts is that a lot of them let go. After a hot Texas afternoon and then a cool fall evening, the suction lets go. So far, this one has not let go. It’s been up in my car for three days, and two nights. I’m not sure what the summer temps will bring, but for now, it’s solid.

They call it a Sticky Suction Car Mount is because there is a sticky pad where you set your phone. At first glance it does not look trustworthy. After you peel that cover, and set your phone down, it’s there for the duration. I was afraid I was going to have to take the mount off my windshield to get my phone off it when I was finished. Ok, I’ll admit the first thing I thought when I saw that sticky pad is that it is not going to stick for long, with all the dust from my sand driveway. It does wash off just like the directions say, and then it is automatically sticky again.

I trust the Sticky Suction Car Mount from iGotTech. It holds, both to the phone and the windshield. The way it’s made it swivels to whatever position you need it so you can see your phone screen. This car phone mount is a keeper.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

What do you look for in a car phone mount?

Comments

  1. That’s exactly what I need! I don’t have one and don’t even know what to look for. My dad has one but I don’t remember what kind, but he loves it.

  2. Okay the swivel option is definitely nice! My husband and I need something like this. We have an actual GPS with a mount, but it is outdated and we just use our phones now. A mount would surely make it an easier process!
