What To Do When Pets Make Mistakes

UH-OH! How Do I Get THAT Out?! Pro Vet Choice!

*I received a bottle of Pro Vet Choice to facilitate this review. ALL opinions are my own!

Sometimes pets are messy (just like kids) – it’s just a fact of life. If noticed and cleaned up quickly and correctly, it won’t cause a problem in the future. You do need to know that if you don’t get it all, your pets will keep coming back to that spot. Your best defense is to have a good professional strength stain and odor eliminator that will do the job the first time. A product that uses bio-enzymes, like Pro Vet Choice, will get the whole stain, the first time.

Pro Vet Choice cleans stains/odors better than T.P!

Many times people don’t realize that they need to clean far beyond the carpet layer. They think if they blot up a spot and use their steam/carpet cleaner, the stain is gone. Not true. Most carpet has padding under it. Carpet padding is a sponge. Also, what’s under that padding? Cement? Cement is porous, meaning it soaks up whatever gets poured on it. Wood is also porous and soaks up liquids. Even once the liquids dry they leave behind an odor and pets will go back to mark that territory over and over again if they can smell it. Let’s clean it right the first time –

  • First clean up any solid mess (vomit, feces). Then blot the wet part with an old towel or paper towels.
  • Saturate the spot. The definition of ‘saturate’ (from the Merriam-Webster dictionary) is – 1:  to satisfy fully, 2:  to treat, furnish, or charge with something to the point where no more can be absorbed, dissolved, or retained; 3 a :  to fill completely with something that permeates or pervades or b :  to load to capacity; 4:  to cause to combine until there is no further tendency to combine. Please make sure you completely saturate the spot for the product to work to your full expectations. If there is concrete under that carpet padding, it has to be able to soak up those bio-enzymes so they can do their job.
  • Let the product sit for an hour so it can penetrate enough to neutralize all the odor. This keeps your pet from coming back to the spot. If it is an old spot, it may take more than one treatment. After an hour blot dry the best you can.
  • Now the hard part. Keep your pets and children away from the spot while it dries. If you want to get rid of the odor, it has to air dry.

Pro Vet Choice WORKS!

I like products like Pro Vet Choice because those little bio-enzymes eat up the stain and odor effectively so you don’t have to worry about it any more. Pro Vet Choice has a 100% satisfaction guarantee, is certified safe, and it’s made right here in the USA. It worked the best in our rent house (sometimes I wish we didn’t allow pets!), so it’s the one we use. Plus, I can get Pro Vet Choice from Amazon, which makes it quick and easy (and since I have an Amazon Prime membership, shipping is free!).

We have 7 Pomeranians. How do we lean our carpet,,,,, replace it with wood. LOL
Sorry. In a funny mood! 🙂

    • Oh, Judy! It is funny! – but it’s not. I have a Pom as well, and they are the hardest dogs in the world to potty train! Our pom prefers it outside, but when he is in, I have to watch him very closely – and he is almost 5 yrs old!!

Ours are actually pretty good. We’re former “hobby” breeders and everybody always lived inside. When we decided to stop breeding, we had Boo fixed and placed in a pet home and kept a couple of pups. They’re all girls but minor UTI’s are common when they’re in season and 2 have “excitable” bladders. When somebody knocks o the door, grab the paper towels!
