Spring Cleaning with Midori Spring Matcha!

Midori Spring Cleaning Inside & Out!

*I received a tin of Midori Spring Organic Ceremonial Matcha Tea Powder to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.

Yes, yes, it’s Spring. My allergies have reminded me almost every day. Since I’m in misery anyway, why not throw in Spring cleaning as well?! Ha! In the midst of all the sneezing and shelf clearing, I’ve found a way to help ‘Spring Clean’ my body as well. I just have a tall glass of peppermint iced green tea, using Midori Spring Organic Ceremonial Matcha Powder.

Midori Spring Matcha Powder

Midori Spring Matcha is chock full of antioxidants. With Spring being an early extension of Summer here in South Texas, the tea has to be iced, and I have to have a little peppermint or spearmint in my tea always. It is so easy to make a nice tall glass of iced green tea with matcha powder. I’m sure it’s because matcha is the whole leaf, just dried and ground. You don’t have to wait for the goodness to steep into water. I mix about a half a teaspoon in a half cup of hot water, but I mix it in a small jar or mixer bottle. It takes a little to get it completely incorporated into the water but once the little clumps are gone, it’s ready! Pour it over ice and add cold water until you have it to the strength you like it. I use peppermint oil in mine (and sometimes fresh lemon), but you can add whatever you like to yours!

Nothing more rejuvenating than an ice cold glass of Midori Spring Matcha Powder tea!

Now, Midori Spring Matcha is not only good inside your body. You can use it to help outside your body too! Mix a teaspoon of matcha with a tablespoon of honey and add a drop or two of water or lemon juice.

Midori Spring Matcha Powder and honey make a great facial!

Mix it up and use it as a facial mask to help clean all the impurities out of your pores! Just spread it on your face. Leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse off with warm water and a washcloth. Spring Cleaning – inside and out!
