Our First Disney Trip is SO CLOSE
I’m so excited that, in my head I feel like I’m 5 again. My body still feels 54 but that’s ok. I’m getting everything ready to get on that plane Thursday morning. I keep running my ‘To-Do List’ through my head trying to make sure everything gets done before we head out the door. Today I need to make a trip to the store to pick up last minute necessities that the boys just informed me they need. Yeah, nothing too terribly important. Just deodorant. Why do they wait until they’re completely out of something to tell me they need it? And there is nothing like letting me know at 9:00 pm that you have no deodorant for the next day. This is why I ‘stock-pile’ the important things.
I’m so glad we got the video cameras put in the house and outside. Also, my daughter-in-law will be coming by to feed a few of the animals every day. Also, my oldest granddaughter might be coming and spending a couple of days in the house too. I don’t have to worry about the house being left alone, because my neighbors and my family are AWESOME!
I know I promised you Disney crafts before I left, but it didn’t happen. Well, keep your eyes open, because I can promise you that I will be doing crafts when we get back. I’ve decided we’ll be doing at least one craft a week, and if I can get even one of my daughters/daughters-in-law interested in helping me out with that, it will be even better, with pictures of children working on the crafts as well! I’ll also be working on scrapbooking our memories from the trip.
I’m sure you know that the blog will be inundated with Disney for a while, but I don’t really see that being a problem, do you? In the coming days and throughout the weekend, keep an eye open on my Instagram because I will be posting there a lot. Of course, those posts automatically post to Facebook and Twitter as well, so you’ll still be able to keep up if you use either of those social medias. I’ll post pics of shows, rides, food, places and of course, the family! I’m so excited! I’m sure I’ll be totally wrung-out-exhausted by the end of this trip – at least, I hope I am!
