Miss Danielle’s Preschoolbuds
*I received the Miss Danielle’s Preschoolbuds “Betsie Bee”, “Arabelle the Bat”, and “Rupert” books to review. All opinions are my own.
I am so happy that most of my grandchildren love to read. Reading is so important, because that’s how we learn more about our world. I think the love of reading starts at home. I read to my children, and they read to my grand-children. Reading is so important to me, I give my grand-children books for Christmas and for their birthdays. This year I found Miss Danielle’s Preschoolbuds, and I just love these books! They are wonderful for preschool children to read to learn about manners, and other things.
Miss Danielle’s Preschoolbuds Books
Betsie Bee is about Betsie, and her first visit to the doctor. So many times preschoolers are scared of the doctor. They let their little imaginations run away, and fear sets in. This book will help them see that doctors are their friends, not out to hurt them.
Arabelle the Bat is all about a new baby coming to her family. This can be another scary situation for young children. They start thinking they are being replaced or that they won’t be loved any more. Of course, that isn’t true, and as Arabelle finds out, there is plenty of love for everyone.
Rupert is all about adoption. When children start school, the questions can start. Rupert wants to know how a puppy, a panda, a turtle, a pig and a mouse can be a family, and his Mommy helps to answer the questions. Family isn’t always blood; family is a matter of love.
I love that Danielle R. Lindner writes these books in rhyme. I think it helps keep a young child’s attention and helps to keep them interested. These books help children learn about things that can be hard for a young child to understand. The illustrations by Justo Borrero are colorful and so cute!Miss Danielle’s Preschoolbuds are fabulous books for preschool children.
