Softness and Comfort
*I received a pair of Soft Science shoes to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.
The first thing I need to tell you about these shoes, is to order 1/2 to 1 size bigger. At the very least, measure your foot and check against the size charts to be sure you have the right size. This may seem like a little bit of a hassle, but it is so – So – SO worth it! When Soft Science offered this review, I really had a hard time choosing what shoe I wanted to review. They are all really nice, and I spent a lot of time trying to make a choice. I finally decided on the Daisy Soft Science Shoe.
These shoes are very comfortable, but they arrived just a wee bit too small for me. The thing is, my son borrowed them one day to run out to the barn for something, and now, he won’t give them back! He really likes these shoes, and they are perfect for him to wear around the house, and maybe to places like the beach and the pool. I ordered the light blue, but they don’t look girly, so I let him keep them. For this reason, you will see his legs in the pictures, so don’t freak out about the hairy legs!
Soft Science shoes are made of something called Trileon™. The footbed and outsole are made of this Trileon, which is odor resistant. This is a wonderful thing for my son, since he is a teen and has a little trouble with foot odor. Soft Science shoes help keep the foot in a level, balanced position, with zero heel rise or drop. This helps keep the body aligned, which is supposed to reduce pressure points. My son does love the way they feel.
I’ll be ordering a pair of The Skiff in Mossy Oak Treestand print shortly after Christmas. They are so cute, and I would wear them out here on the farm. I wear out flip flops fast! You really need to check these shoes out. They are very comfortable, and if they look cute! Follow Soft Science on Facebook, – Twitter, – and Instagram.
