Tuesday, March 14th, 2017, The Gospel of Mark from The Lumo Project went on sale at your local Walmart store for just $14.98. This is the second installment in the renowned Gospel series, and I want to own every single installment. This series follows the Gospels word for word from the Bible. Ok, maybe not ‘word for word’. It depends on the translation of your personal Bible. I like King James Version, and it was very close to word for word. Last year, Lionsgate released The Gospel of John. I’ll be purchasing that one very soon. The Gospels all deal with the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, which makes this release just in time for Easter. It would make a wonderful gift.
From what Mark shows us, Jesus is a hero, a healer, a master, and teacher. Also we see that Jesus didn’t want those He healed to talk about Him. He preferred that His identity be kept a secret. The scenes in this movie really give you a better idea of the things that happened throughout Jesus’ life, through his death on the cross, and his resurrection. It took five years to make this movie, and it is based on the latest theological, historical and archaeological studies.
My boys watched the movie with me, and they seemed to really enjoy it. My 15 yr old said he even learned a couple of things he hadn’t realized before from just reading his Bible. This made me a very happy mom! Now you can win a copy of this DVD for yourself. Just enter on the Rafflecopter form below. I’ll choose a winner March 29th, 2017.
