“Let The Wild Rumpus Start!”
Hahahaha! I couldn’t resist! I’m still working on this Beastie. He’s one of my very favorite projects so far. I think this one will be going in my toy box here. I found out this week that I will be watching my youngest grandson next year. The daycare he’s attending now just doesn’t seem safe. He’s had bites on him twice now that the teachers didn’t even see, or know about. That scares me, and my son and daughter-in-law, so they asked me to watch him next year. I’m pretty excited about it. So, as Max said, “Let the wild rumpus start!”
I haven’t really worked too much on the Beastie. His hair, tail, and horns are finished, since I told you about him last week. (This pattern is The Unnamed Monster from Sharon Ojala.)
This Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the newest project. He is for one of the grandsons. My oldest son and his wife have four boys. They live very close to me, so I see them more than any of the other grandchildren. My daughter-in-law is a teacher, and their youngest is the one I’ll have next school year. Leonardo will go to their second child, my “Smiley”.
I asked last month, but no one has given me any ideas yet, of what project to start next. We are having a shower in a couple of weeks, at church. The expecting couple have decorated the nursery in a “woodlands” theme. I’m going to whip up a little fox and maybe a raccoon for that nursery, as my gift. I’m not sure yet, but whatever I choose will be in this space next week.
You can go to my Pinterest and just take a look through any of the crochet boards. Here are the links to those boards…
I know, it’s a lot. There are a lot of patterns in each of those too. *smile* Let me know what I should work up next and I’ll choose from the answers. “Let the wild rumpus start!”
