October is National Pasta Month!

We're celebrating National Pasta Month with Cucina Antica

Did you know that October was National Pasta Month? I just found out! Cucina Antica asked my family to celebrate National Pasta Month with them! They sent me jars of their wonderful sauces too, so I could share them with you!

Actually, we eat a lot of pasta here on the farm. I love to cook it because it’s so versatile, and my family loves it! The boys like to make spaghetti and pizza on their own. I tend to make a little fancier recipes, like Chicken Parmesan, Stuffed Shells, or Lasagna. I use Cucina Antica sauces when I make these recipes because they are better for my family than other jarred or canned sauces. There are nine different sauces to choose from, so you’ll always have the perfect sauce.

Cucina Antica Sauces are perfect for National Pasta Month!

How Are They Better?

First, they are certified NON-GMO. I don’t have to worry about any genetically modified anything. That makes me incredibly happy. Cucina Antica sauces are made with San Marzano tomatoes. Then, there are no artificial preservatives,  no added sugar, no added water and no tomato paste, plus it has lower sodium. This makes it better for you. Psst… they are also gluten free! That means my friend Lenora can eat them (with gluten free pasta) without the fear of adverse reactions.

So, what really makes Cucina Antica sauces better is the way they are made. They have an artisanal production method that makes sure no flavor is lost when I cook the sauce for my family. All the flavors are still there, in the sauce! The flavor is what makes my family keep coming back!

Tonight I’m making tortellini, and pouring Cucina Antica Tomato Basil over the top. You can really taste the basil, and just look at the little pieces of basil and tomato in the sauce! Beautiful! The flavor is just as beautiful as the sauce looks.

Not sure if you can find Cucina Antica near you? You can look here to find out, but it’s available at the Target near me, so you can probably find it there as well. If you can’t find it near you, you can order from the website, and they have “mix and match” 3 packs. Cucina Antica even has organic salad dressings and catsup. There are also some really tasty recipes on the website. Make sure you check those out too.
