Gift Baskets for the Men in Your Life

BroBasket has Gift Baskets for men

There’s always someone that you just aren’t sure what to give for Christmas. These are the relatives and friends that usually end up with a gift basket, from us. When BroBasket asked Trista and I to review a gift basket each, I had to think twice. You all know that I a Christian, and I didn’t want to make anyone think that I approved of drunken abandonment. The truth is, although my husband quit drinking, I don’t believe that there is anything wrong with having a drink now and then. The problem comes when people can’t drink responsibly, or act responsibly when drinking. That said, I agreed to review a gift basket from BroBasket, knowing full well we have friends and family members to whom this basket could be gifted.

BroBasket has so many different baskets, you shouldn’t have any trouble finding one to fit someone in your life. I received the Vodka Martini BroBasket; martinis are James Bond’s favorite drink! I was rather surprised when I received this basket, but I know some huge James Bond fans. I won’t have any trouble gifting out this basket! The Voidka Martini gift basket arrived in a black tin basket with BroBrother’s logo on the front. In the basket there were a bottle of Martini & Rossi Dry Vermouth, a jar of Tomolives, a bag of Popcornopolis Gourmet Flavored Popcorn, two packages of Ferrer Roche chocolate covered hazelnut candies, and a bottle of Tito’s Vodka, along with a greeting card that has your special message on it.

How It All Started

BroBasket’s story began like this …

My fiance (now husband) sent me a bouquet of flowers and I leapt with glee!  That evening as I thanked him for the gesture I asked “Well why don’t I send you some flowers at work to repay the favor?”.  He laughed  and respectfully declined but retorted with, “I don’t want flowers, but you can send me a bucket of beer instead!”  After searching the internet and quickly realizing I couldn’t send him a bucket of beer, I realized what a cool concept that would be!

They decided to sell locally delivered gift baskets with alcohol, but people kept ordering from all over the country! When they decided to open the business globally, they had some trouble getting backing. I have no clue why, but no one thought it would be a worthwhile venture. Can you imagine? They decided to bootstrap it and do it all on their own, and now they distribute BroBaskets all over the country, to men and women!

So, if you are having trouble finding a gift for someone, you might want to think about checking out BroBasket. However, please remember to drink responsibly, and never to drink and drive.
