Rebuilding Christmas with

2017 Holiday Gift Guide is on the way! is helping us rebuild memories! sent me a sparkly, personalized door ornament to review, to help us start rebuilding Christmas at our house. Earlier this year Hurricane Harvey dealt Texans a pretty hard blow. My family was very blessed that although the water flooded our property, it didn’t hurt our home. It did however, wash pretty much everything out of the barn. When it did, it took all of our Christmas decorations and decor. These were things I had collected over the years; from stockings to ornaments, to candlesticks, and they were all washed away. So now, I am slowly but surely starting to try to put together a few ornaments to decorate the tree this year. I chose this welcoming front door, to commemorate the fact that our home and family came away from it all safe.

Building or Rebuilding Christmas – Can Help! has such a wide variety of ornaments to choose from. They have personalized ornaments, family ornaments, military, hobby, and even brass ornaments. I’m pretty sure you could find almost any kind of ornament you would want to commemorate a special time, occasion, or person, at You can also be sure that it will reach you in one piece. This door was wrapped in styro-foam in the small box, and then that box was in a bigger box with bubble wrap.  It is a glass ornament, and arrived in perfect condition. I found a handful of ornaments that I’ll be purchasing to give as gifts this year.

I’ll be shopping later this week for new stockings for all the grandkids. I doubt they’ll even notice them, since I’m hoping to find some just like the ones they had before. After Christmas, I plan to hit all the sales and try to find some of the same ornaments we had before, to start rebuilding Christmas memories all over again. In the mean time, we’ll just have to make new ones!
