Make Your Bible An Heirloom

The She Reads Truth Bible – Heirloom in the Making

I love the Poppy colored hard back copy of this Bible!

For many years now I have been carrying an old King James version Bible. It’s pages have many notes and high-lighted sections. There are various sticky notes on pages to mark verses that I want to remember. All of these little things might make my Bible look untidy to others, but it makes my Bible special to me. These are notes my children can go over after I’ve gone. Verses that comforted me, may comfort them as well … if they can actually read them. I have been longing for a journaling Bible that I can take notes in, and write references in.

I can actually find and read the notes I write in my She Reads Truth Bible.

This is a Bible that I can actually read my notes from, because I don’t have to squish those notes between lines or in tiny little margins. When asked to review the She Reads Truth Bible, I jumped at the chance, because this Bible had been on my wish list for a while. The She Reads Truth Bible would be the perfect heirloom Bible.

Beautiful Illustrations in the She Reads Truth Bible

This beautiful Bible comes in a protective sleeve. It has  almost 200 devotionals, 66 artist-designed key verses, 35 full-color timelines, 20 full-color maps, 11 full-color charts, reading plans for every book of the Bible, one-year Bible reading plan, detailed book introductions, key verse list, carefully curated topical index, smyth-sewn binding, two colored ribbon markers, and wide margins for journaling and note-taking. It is comfortable to carry, and comfortable to use. I will tell you, Jesus’ words are not in red, and while I miss that, it’s a small thing. The writing is in paragraph form, so it takes a little getting used to, but I can honestly say it did not take me long.

The She Reads Truth Bible is full of maps, charts and timelines to help you understand.

So Many Extras!

I do carry a couple of different Bibles with me. The She Reads Truth Bible is the very first one I pick up when I’m trying to explain something to some one, or show them why I believe something I believe. It’s got great maps, charts and timelines to help me get my point across, or show someone something specific. This Bible is so full of wonderful help!

Now, one of the really important things to me about this Bible is that it is the CSB translation. I have always carried KJV, because it was the original. It was as close as possible to the very original. The Christian Standard Bible translation is a translation right from the Hebrew and the Greek. I am getting the closest translation as possible to the original. The Bible is easy to follow along with anyone reading any other translation, which makes it easily understood. This makes this Bible translation good for me.

My oldest daughter has already told me to leave my Bible to her after I am gone. You have no idea how happy this makes my heart!
